Provides immediate post-mishap support for the Navy and Marine Corps Aviation community and their families.  Additionally, continues to honor fallen heroes with memorials and events. 

The Tragedy Assistance Program (TAPS)

A 24/7 tragedy assistance resource for anyone who has suffered the loss of a military loved one.  The organization hosts a variety of programs, including annual seminars, grief camp for children and young survivors, and peer-based emotional support.

Education Resources

Marine Corp - Law Enforcement Foundation

Establishes an educational account for every child who loses a parent serving in the United States Marine Corps or any Federal Law Enforcement Agency.

Folds of Honor

Provides primary and secondary scholarship assistance for dependents (kindergarten – 12th grade) of our nation’s service members.

Folded Flag Foundation

Scholarships and grants are available to qualifying spouses of fallen heroes and their children under the age of 26. Includes tutoring, after school programs, summer camps, and other related educational expenses. 

Fallen Not Forgotten

Founded by members of the military along with family and friends, looking to help other families of the military as they work through their next chapters in life by providing educational scholarships and assistance.

The Survivors’ and Dependents’ Educational Assistance Program (DEA)

Scholarships for Gold Star Families to assist surviving family members.

Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation

Provides college grants to surviving U.S. military children, widows, and disabled veterans.  In addition, the expanded program provides financial assistance for Gold Star Families.

Fallen Patriots

Provides college scholarships and educational counseling to surviving military children from all branches of the Armed Forces.

Heroe's Legacy - Fisher House Foundation

Scholarship for unmarried dependent children under the age of 23 whose parent has fallen in battle, died or become disabled through active military service after September 11, 2001.

Special Operations Warrior Foundation

Provides full financial assistance for post-secondary scholarships for every child who loses a parent serving in Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps special operations.

The Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund

College scholarship for the children of military personnel who have been killed or permanently disabled in a combat mission or training accident.

Scholarships for Gold Star Families to assist surviving family members.

No Greater Sacrifice

NGS defines "higher education" as advanced learning through a bachelor's degree or associate's degree from an approved institution or certificate from a trade school.

Snowball Express- Gary Sinise Foundation

Serves the children of fallen military heroes with programs such as the annual Snowball Express (all-expense paid trip to Disney for the families of fallen service members), retreats, and family events.

United Heroes League

Comfort Zone Camp

Camps for kids 7-17, and young adults between the ages of 18-25, who have suffered the death of a parent, sibling or legal guardian.

Eluna Network and Camp Erin

Camp Erin is the largest national free bereavement camp program for children and teens 6-17 grieving the death of someone close to them.

Seven Stars Foundation

Sponsors military children to YMCA camps around the country for a week at no charge to the families.

Kids of Our Heroes Adventure Camp

Committed to helping the Children of Fallen and Wounded Warriors, and First Responders.  Provides a one week adventure camp at no cost to the campers.

To transform the lives of children of wounded, injured, ill, and fallen military heroes by providing a unique summer camp experience.

Operation Camp

Sponsors children of fallen Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines and Coast Guardsmen to summer camps throughout the United States, to include cost of camp, travel to and from camp, lodging and meals. This allows for zero out of pocket expenses for the parents or guardians of these children.

Operation 300

Hosts weekend-long adventure camps for children who have lost their fathers as a result of military service, pairing each child with a father-aged, male mentor who spends the weekend doing things with the children they might have done with their dad.

Knights of Heroes Foundation

Empowers children who have lost a parent in service to our Nation by providing positive adult mentorship, character development, and lasting friendships, forged through outdoor adventure programs.
